The beauty of a creative baby shower is that some of the design elements for the party can be repurposed as keepsakes and décor in the nursery. This was the goal as Angela DiVincenti Babin of Angela Marie Events planned the celebration of the upcoming arrival of Ella Kate Speights for parents Kayla and Benjamin.

“Her keepsakes for the baby’s room were strictly floral,” says Babin. “All the big paper flowers used at the shower are going over the baby’s bed.”

And Babin added a ton of whimsy and fun with unicorns and cotton candy Champagne, in addition to the flowers, to create a magical afternoon in anticipation of the special delivery. Plenty of pink details and loads of sugary treats made it special.

“Baby showers are such sweet moment for the mom and baby to come,” says Babin. “There is nothing sweeter than a baby being born.”
