The Life of a Single Mom conference returns to Baton Rouge

Single moms shouldn’t always have to do everything on their own. That’s why The Life of a Single Mom Ministries’ annual conference plays such an important role in the lives of women struggling to find a support group—and this year will once again be held at Healing Place Church in Baton Rouge.

The National TLSM Single Moms Conference is the largest single mothers conference in America, where moms, ministry leaders and supporters come from across the country (and sometimes the world) to be inspired and encouraged. The two-day event runs from this Friday through Saturday, July 15-16, and features nationally recognized speakers, worship, good meals, plus plenty of surprises.

This year, keynote speakers include Nicole Reyes, director of Liberty Foundation in New York City and co-author of Survival Guide for Young Women; Dr. Robbie Furdge, associate pastor of Word of Faith A.W.C. in Natchez, Mississsippi, and founder of Sound of a Warrior Prayer Ministry; Jennifer Maggio, a formerly abused single mom, author and founder of The Life of a Single Mom Ministries; and Elizabeth Demarest, author of Amazon Girl: Dare to Dream, inspired by her childhood and ministry in the Amazon rainforest of Brazil.
