Rickey Heroman’s opening additional location
Rickey Heroman, owner of Rickey Heroman’s Florist & Gifts, has built a 16,000-square-foot shopping center in Denham Springs and is moving his Range Avenue florist store to this new location on Bass Pro Boulevard.
“I’ve wanted to own my own building for awhile,” says Heroman, whose new store will take up 5,000 square feet of the space. “This will allow me to have better displays and more gift wear and merchandise.”
In addition to the florist shop, which is projected to open in May, the property will also include a restaurant, a shoe store, a clothing boutique and a nail salon. Heroman wants to give customers a full shopping experience so that they can go to more than one store when they park at the center.
Heroman’s flagship store—a 10,000-square-foot florist and gift shop at Towne Center—remains open, as does his O’Neal Lane location. And Heroman is considering additional locales for future endeavors.
“We do a lot of business in the Prairieville and Gonzales areas,” says Heroman. “I’m considering possible locations in that area in the near future.”
