Toast of the town: Rehearsal dinners take center stage

Guests at the rehearsal dinner are no longer limited to family and the wedding party only. This pre-nuptial feast often includes friends and loved ones who take this special night to new levels with intimate toasts.

Specialty touches and gifts at the rehearsal dinner are a personal way to please the wedding guests closest to the couple.

Some traditions take the rehearsal dinner even more seriously. The Greek version is an all-night affair that takes place a few days before the wedding, giving the bride and groom time to rest up before the big day.

Just because the rehearsal dinner decor may lean toward the informal side does not mean that the traditional head table must be eschewed. Here, bushy florals and plenty of candlelight make the rustic scene memorable.
