SUMMER
Any season in south Louisiana is a good season to get married. We turned to Angela DiVincenti Babin of Angela Marie Events to take us through the year with inspirational florals and settings for bridal events and beyond. Since chinoiserie is a timeless classic, Babin chose a blue and white watercolor-style tablecloth in a chinoiserie motif for this summer seating. It acts as a neutral from which the citrus-hued flower arrangement pops. A gauzy napkin knots casually over the formal plates.
FALL
Autumn Days call for richer hues when it comes to nuptial celebrations. Here Babin chose plum and peach tones for the roses, ranunculus, astrantia, and Amnesia garden roses. She tempered this with a bone-colored tablecloth with dainty details all its own.
WINTER
White florals abound during the winter months, when brides turn to soft, subtle color to reflect the chilly weather. But that doesn’t mean color doesn’t have its place. Babin introduced a cobalt blue plate (in keeping with the Pantone color of the year) to add sophistication and regal elegance to the simple scene. But gray, neutral tableware can also be used to create a subtle scene.
SPRING
Florals explode out of a weathered box at the center of this serene al fresco event. Spring is the optimal time to have garden parties and outdoor weddings. And these roses, sweet peas, delphineums, hyacinths and lilacs sweeten the scene even more.
