Local celebrities competed for tips at the Baton Rouge Children’s Advocacy Center’s eighth annual celebrity waiter event July 15 at Walk-On’s Bistro in Towne Center.

Mingle with local celebrities and LSU and Southern coaches as they compete for your tips. The Baton Rouge Children’s Advocacy Center is hosting its 9th annual celebrity waiter fundraising event at 7 p.m. at L’Auberge Casino next Wednesday, July 15. Executive Director Sharon Pol encourages the public to attend and support the organization and its programs, which benefit abused children.

The celebrity wait “staff” includes LSU baseball coach Paul Mainieri, East Baton Rouge District Attorney Hillar Moore, television personality Whitney Vann, members of the LSU Golden Girls, and Metro Councilman John Delgado. David St. Romain will also be on hand, singing for tips. There will be complimentary food and drinks. The silent auction will feature items including a Body Image Solutions package valued at $5,000, spa gift cards, golfing experiences, and trips to St. Francisville, New Orleans, Grand Isle, Venice.
