Join Alexander’s Highland Market for Christmas in the PARKing Lot Sunday, Nov. 29, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Kleinpeter Photography will be available to capture your child’s moment with Santa, Harb’s Oasis will be selling Fraser Firs, and Pennington Biomedical Research Center nutritionists will provide samples, recipes and tips on eating healthy during the holidays.

“This is an extension of the ‘Farm to Table’ movement,” says Lathan Alexander, co-owner of Alexander’s Highland Market. “Call it ‘Farm to Family Room,’ but these types of small business collaborations are what set us apart. We are entrepreneurs helping each other to bring better service and greater convenience to our neighbors.”

Numerous local authors will be in attendance selling and signing books, and artisan vendors, such as Susan Rodrigue Pottery and Cypress Springs Gifts, will be available with their merchandise. Food vendors will include Cake Jewels, Hanley’s Foods, Ivy’s Pride Tamales, Andi Lynn’s Elderberry Syrup, Truly Scrumptious, GrinningJupiter Jammery, Flambeaux Olives, Bacon Nation Foods, Red Stick Spice Co., Delightful Palate, Militello’s and Most Delightful Foods.
