Class teaches how to say goodbye to garden bugs

Is your garden being eaten alive? Are your flowers and veggies full of holes? Are you at your wits’ end in finding the culprits? The Herb Society of America’s Baton Rouge Unit has the answer. Next Thursday, Aug. 27, Tim Schowalter, professor and department head at the LSU AgCenter, will share his expertise about good and bad insects of the garden. Schowalter will give tips on how to identify the good bugs and how to spot and get rid of the bad ones.

The class begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Burden Museum & Gardens Conference Center on Essen Lane. The public is invited to attend. For more information, contact Cathy Scarbrough by calling 928-3676 or emailing [email protected].
