In 2017, Christina Carville was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Soon after, Carville–who was selected as one of inRegister’s Women with a Cause honorees in 2022–began a campaign to spread awareness and provide resources for those suffering with the disease, founding the Knock Out MS Foundation in August 2020. Now concluding its second year, the organization is offering the Baton Rouge community the chance to celebrate for a good cause at its second annual Knock Out MS Gala this Saturday, August 20, at the Hilton Capitol Center.
